The majority of money counting machines are equipped with software approved by the European Central Bank (ECB), which is tested and certified at least once a year to confirm its ability to detect all counterfeit notes known to the ECB.

Even if a sensor responsible for detecting banknote authenticity malfunctions, the machine will redirect all banknotes to the reject compartment, ensuring that not a single couterfeit note is accepted.

We recommend always using the latest version of the software to ensure accurate banknote recognition. Each time the manufacturer releases an update, we inform our clients about the software changes and any updated currencies.

Depending on the money counting device you choose, each machine is individually configured based on the client's needs and the desired foreign currencies. Some models can support up to 32 currencies simultaneously, selected from a pool of more than 130 available foreign currencies.

As with any equipment, regular maintenance and basic cleaning from dust and dirt are necessary to ensure smooth operation. Additionally, depending on the volume of banknotes processed, a thorough inspection should be carried out to identify any worn components.

Simple cleaning of dust and dirt is even recommended once per shift or workday. Deeper cleaning and more thorough inspections should be carried out by our engineers. It is not recommended for regular users to perform these tasks, as occasional sensor recalibration is needed after such maintenance.

All money counting machines have some form of error detection system. In each case, an error message will appear on the screen indicating which component is malfunctioning. We are always available to advise you on the steps to take in any given situation. Additionally, we can come on-site to fix the issue.
